I don't recall seeing this thread around here and I think it's a pretty cool one. You can either recommend someone a game or advise someone not to waste one's time on it. I'll start.

Mark Of The Ninja - A very good stealth-action game. It's like Splinter Cell but in 2D. Although I admit there were times when I was a little bit bored. Overall it's a very good game. Solid 8/10.

Here's a collage of all games I've beaten over the years on PC:

Mirrors Edge. Oh did that game ever annoy me. Faith refused to jump when I told her to, refused to wall run, and most of all, refused to even attempt to grab ledges I darn well know she could. It's not a bad game, but it doesn't control properly. No real interest in playing it again.

Final Fantasy IV for the GBA. Old as hell but equally good. I loved it.

Sherlock Holmes: The Mystery Of The Persian Carpet - Okay, this game sucks. It's the worst of all SH games I've played. It's a hidden object type of game but I bet it would be nice if it was done properly. Almost everything in this game is taken from The Silver Earring: Music, locations and even some puzzles! The difficulty level is very uneven, some puzzles are very easy and some are ridiculously hard. And there's even one in which you just need to be lucky and you can waste a lot of time on it just because you might be out of luck. The plot is weak and uninteresting. Everything in this game is weak. It's not the worst game I've ever played but it's far from good or even decent. 3/10

Mark of the Ninja, a bit short, imo.

Binary Domain - If one likes games where there's almost no logic but there's a lots of action and I mean lots of action there one will like this game. I like in it nice graphics, awesome cutscenes, pretty cool plot and nice music. I don't like boss fights which are lame and the fact that there are some minor bugs present. I wish there were more japanese games released on PC. They have specific... feel to them. Japanese feel. I like it. It's a shame it's a "console country" and japanese shooters get almost no releases on PC. Very few anyway. 8/10

Aha, you probably know this already, but for other people... If you accidentally attack some npc and they become hostile, first of all don't actually kill them! :) You can calm them down by asking for absolution at the pardoner guy above the undead parish.

I didn't know that when I attacked Petrus accidentally, and just ran away from him, I found his soul later where he used to be; the guy is a cunt, so I don't feel bad about it. I attacked Rhea while fighting her hollowed guards, but could ask for forgiveness. But with Solaire, if you don't kill all the sunlight maggots before opening a door, he will become hollow, and you can't reverse that...

Ahh, sorry! Thought you'd taken a swing at him by accident. And one interesting thing I read, instead of wasting all that humanity to reach +2 in the chaos covenant, you can use poison mist through the locked shortcut to kill the one troublesome creature that has to die (you don't actually have to kill all of them.) I tried it on one playthrough and it prevented that thing taking place. \\[T]/

Seems nobody feels bad about pre-emptively killing Petrus or especially Lautrec. :)

But if we kill someone to prevent a murder, what does that make us? Maybe Rhea was secretly going to kill us, and kindly Petrus prevented it by killing her first, before she got the chance. :)

I don't kill Lautrec when I met him, after all you can revive the firekeeper after and she'll be able to talk. But Petrus, I didn't intend to kill him, but didn't feel bad after knowing that he's a dick. I even forgave Patches.

I just finished Blades of Time. Was a mediocre game. Bad camera, story was worthless with horrible ending, and gameplay was ok with unresponsive controls at times.

I recently got a 3DS and I found myself replaying all of my old DS games. I played through The World Ends With You again a few days ago. I had forgotten how fun that game is. I wouldn't mind a sequel with a new cast, since I loved the game but feel like Neku and the game have gone through plenty already. Wouldn't be too difficult, since the Shibuya UG isn't the only UG and there's the whole other plot going on with the secret files or whatever they were called.

Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams - Rise Of The Owlverlord - A very good add-on to the best platformer game of 2012. It's awesome! I just wish it was longer :( 9/10

Just finished Mass Effect. People kept talking about that series so I picked it up for myself just to see what it was all about. I have to say, I like it.

It was also a milestone game for me. It is the 500th game I have finished (yes I keep count).

The Lord Of The Rings: War In The North - Weird game. It has tons of bugs and flaws and yet it's pretty cool when it comes to gameplay. Slashing monsters is really fun. But dialogues are boring, the game is very linear, there are "invisible walls" everywhere, sometimes the player has a feeling the game is poor in general but the gameplay is nice and like I said, slashing monsters is really fun. I enjoyed it but it's far from great (or even good). 6/10

I think they had a fulltime designers while doing chapter 1 (Fornost), then they somewhat cut their wages while doing Chapter 2 (Barrow-Downs), then decided to save money and not used designers at all for later chapters (especially Mirkwood and Carn Dun).
