I may die. But I know it cannot blow my Steam games away.

My first thought to respond was honestly "In other news, steam has recently completed relocating all data centers to Hong Kong." I couldn't bring myself to do it till I saw your post though.

The wind is NW and later expected to change to SW.

My windows are facing NE and SE. So I should be safe this time.

Please pray for me and my Steam collection.

I am hoping for a hard enough storm to reach Guangzhou that will close work tomorrow, haha. We are about 100km apart, it should have reached there now? It has not started to rain more than a little sprinke here yet. I can see it coming on satellite:

The strongest typhoon in the last 35 years in the entire world has arrived and produced no wind in my neighborhood.

The biggest hoax I've ever experienced.

Wait to die until the Family Sharing program is on, man! Those games will go to waste!

Oh, and don't die. That's important as well; so you can buy more games.

The funny thing is that now most Hong Kong citizens wish the typhoon could grow a little bit stronger and stay strong until at least noon tomorrow so that we can enjoy a day off.

It is over-hyped as a super typhoon and turns out to be very weak.

The good news is that my Steam games and myself will survive.

Oh, glad to hear that then, didn't know it... still, you sure you don't want to share your library to ensure its security? 100% sure? lol

(Is it bad that when I heard "typhoon" I think of Deus Ex HR?)

the same storm which just passed us,

the monsoon though is much of a problem for us here in PH but not the storm itself.

and we get hit by storms all year round, well mostly during "summer in western countries". Summer here is on March...
