probably too much to hope for for Shovel Knight (and there I think they'd have also drawn the horns)

This exactly. I think we miss some of the good and funny games that are available on mobile platforms, like Temple Rush. Seen it on my mother's tablet and remembered the good old times when we played what was fun and not what was "not free game for this or that".

That actually seems messed up in the game. You can see it pretty well in their Greenlight trailer. When she looks to the right, the hair hangs over the right side of her face. When she looks left, it's reversed.

They have completely overtaken Humble for me since Humble has gone to shit recently. I'm buying almost every Groupees, but Humble can go screw themselves now with their stupid DRM-only Steam-only policy lately and their stupid new redeem system.

Groupees is doing a lot of things right, Humble is doing everything wrong lately.

I don't think the quality of the port can make this game better with a keyboard, just go with a gamepad and you'll get an enjoyable experience

I agree with this guy.
It's like saying Rocksmith is a bad port on PC because it sucks with a PS3 controller.
I say anyone who games on PC and enjoys indie games should have an xinput compatable controller (or motioninjoy with PS3)

They could at least add tooltips for keyboard keys if that's the input you're using, I realize the 2.5d style works better with a controller, but still it's so lazy to not update tooltips for the standard input for a PC, at the very least.

Really? Xbox tooltips only wasn't a problem for you? I didn't even have an xinput controller plugged in, just my keyboard, and I was being told to Press (A) to do this, and to Press (B) to do that

I don't remember if the prompts were in Xbox format but I remember that I just memorized what buttons did what and played fine with 3 other friends who used keyboards as well.
