Borderlands 2 for 5$ - Worth to buy or wait until GOTY arrive with some promo?

The GOTY edition will probably take a bit of time before it gets a decent sale. I'd still wait for it though.

I would say to wait for the GOTY edition to go on sale or something. I don't think it will take long for it to reach a price similar to that of Borderlands GOTY. There are some nice DLCs (other not so much) and some bonus levels too that may make worth the wait.

Is that sale for Steam ?

Seriously, buy the game NOW. You will get 60+ hours into the game, and when you start getting tired of the game, you can pick up the season pass for super cheap.

How long are you willing to wait? It will probably be a couple of years before the GOTY version is this cheap, longer if there isn't a BL3. You could get the $5 standard version now and either buy the season pass and extra DLC when it goes 75% off on Steam or just buy the GOTY cheap later and play it again with the new content.

You've waited one year, you can wait another half a year for full-version-with-all DLCs to be on summer sale, I guess.

Also, I wonder if the idiotic ripoff $1 = 1€ conversion will ever be gone.

I advice to wait for the winter sale on Steam.
If by than it won't be as cheap (and it will if the summer was of any indication) than buy the regular edition.
