In this case, however, I had lowered my default ranking from Level 4 required to Level 3 required thinking that the train would be "protected" by sgtools. So when I had to manually create this after the train function in sgtools failed, I intentionally created the sgtools link for each game to hold true to my original intent. I could have just as easily put the direct links in when I created this manually if I had wanted to.
To save some of the frustration is the reason I created the table... so that people would only have to pass thru sgtools on the games they are interested in.

I want everyone to pass thru sgtools at least once before seeing a game. If the train had worked via sgtools, that would be true (assuming no one handed out direct links).
When that failed, I had two options, cancel all the giveaways and recreate it with a minimum level 4 requirement, or leave the giveaways but require every link to pass thru sgtools. I chose the second option because Idid not want to go thru the hassle of cancelling and then recreating the contests again.
But, sincerely, thank you for being helpful. I realize that was your intention. I'd put you on my whitelist for that, except that... you are already there. :)

I guess that's the part that I don't understand. Doesn't everybody currently have to pass through the sgtools check at least once to access any of the giveaways? I don't see any direct links to the GAs in this thread so everything should be protected. Sorry if I'm being dense.
Also, does the sgtools check have a level requirement built into it? All I see are the two activation rules. I've never used sgtools myself, so maybe there are hidden requirements that I'm not aware of.

I am pretty certain that sgtools will allow minimum SG level checks. I was using the site merely for being sure that all previous wins had been activated and that there were no double wins. This is the default giveaway creation screen on sgtools:

Interesting... that says maximum, not minimum. Also, all of those rules are greyed out. I assume they're not active by default? Anyway, this is probably not the place to discuss sgtools. I'll figure it out if I ever use it.

Yes, they are greyed out because they are inactive and I did not use/activate them. I am sure the minimum level could be implemented via custom filters. But time was short and I didn't want to have to experiment with that so I put that test into each giveaway instead.

Actually this is bad, because now when people enter for games which they have not unlocked the specific sgtools gate, they will show up us bad entrants there.

Ah, good point! I didn't know that... Where does it show if a user has bypassed a sgtools gate? Do only the sgtool admins know that info?
Also, how does it affect someone if they're considered "bad"? Can they be blocked from other GAs or is it just bad reputation?

The giveaway creator can check these on the SGTools page for the GA.
If they bypassed a puzzle or something similar, they can be reported for that (plus the one who shared the links, if you have evidence on that) and if they would actually win the GA it could be re-rolled.

Rather original bumpy train you got there. Each car has its own security check. Usually it's just the first one.

The individual security checks are due to the fact that I had to create the train manually. The idea being to allow folks to go to only the games they are interested in... but still require that they pass the security check. Note that user PoeticKatana kindly put DIRECT LINKS to the Previous/Next giveaways in the comments for each game. So once you arrive at the actual giveaway, you can click his link in the comments instead of mine in the description (as I have noted several times now in this thread... I need to drink more coffee!) :)

I opened up the dusty closet and this fell out! These are Humble Bundle keys so they should work. If not, there are no replacements to be found in my closet, so enter if you are willing to risk a sneeze or two! ;)
I tried using ESGST to create this little train. With a good bit of burping and retries, I was able to create the giveaways. But clearly I am missing something in regards to creating the train. So I took the links to sgtools which I had used to create a 2-car train. It indicated that it had created the train, but it was a one-car train with no links to the next game. (sigh) So I put each game thru sgtools (sorry!) and created this manually.
