How do you get booster pack card drop

All I know is that...
Higher Steam level = Higher drop chance.

Log into steam often and wait for packs for games you own that have cards.

Leveling up helps a lot, so does having a lot of games that are eligible for booster drops. Every 10 levels gives you an extra 20% chance of getting boosters. You're a level 14 with 56 games total, that's why you're not getting many drops.

So how high of a level and how many games should one have to get a decent amount of booster packs on a regular basis?

I recived 1 booster packs sometime ago, HL2, and my Profile Lvl was not high (less than 10th in that moment)

Its random, your odds increase on getting packs at level 10, 20, 30, etc.

I am lvl 11 and i already had 7 drops :D

Craft a badge of game X generates a booster pack of game X and drops to someone who is eligible for booster pack drop for game X.

you can ofc raise your chances to get one but still

I actually haven't received a single booster pack yet because of my level...

Waiting. I get a booster pack like once per week, sometimes two, sometimes none.

I must have used up all my luck with my level 10 booster pack foil card drop for Mount and Blade.
