Akalabeth is like a great interactive exhibit in the museum of cRPG history. I highly recommend playing it for at least a few hours along with the original Rogue as a learning experience. Zork is optional. Akalabeth is, in no way, an amazing game, but it's really interesting as a piece of history. I'm glad GOG got the rights to distribute it.
