Chamomile Tea - Your thoughts?

If your chamomile tea tastes like oatmeal then you got some pretty bad chamomile there.

I love the taste. I also love to put either milk and honey OR honey and lemon in the tea :3 Yum.

Camomile? It's alright, but I prefer chrysanthemum

Oooh now I want some tea. And no, chamomile tastes nothing like oatmeal. Your tea must be some weird shit lol. Even when I didn't like chamomile it didn't taste like oatmeal to me. I grew to like the taste though.

Your chamomille is cheap bad quality, always go for the local stuff without a word in english written on the package, whatever tea you buy.

Are you sure you've washed the cup before pouring tea into it?

I'm more of a Sencha or Oolong person. You know, tea made with leaves from an actual tea plant.

I love oatmeal, but don't really like chamomile supposed to help with insomnia, but doesn't do anything for me. If you want a flowery tea that tastes good try some good quality chrysanthemum.

I found out the problem - it was oatmeal tea, not chamomile. What a klutz!

But more seriously maybe oatmeal was the wrong way to describe the taste. It's kinda sweet and hearty. It reminded me of oatmeal even though maybe it tasted more like cream of wheat.

Good chamomile tea is delicious. If yours tastes like oatmeal there's definitely something wrong with it. It's probably some cheap stuff. Really good chamomile tea tastes like...well...flowers. Add some honey at it tastes like heaven. Best enjoyed during a cold winter evening while covered in warm blankets and no reason to go out

I think herbal teas like chamomile and jasmine, etc taste of soap.

I much rather have a good green tea instead.

'Fresh' chamomile tea is great, store-bought pre-packaged industrial chamomile tea is.. like drinking asphalt.
