No I wouldn't pay that much for an ingame item. If I do play the game though, I probably would try to profit off the time I spend on the game. Just like how I played Realm of the Mad God and made a few hundred paypal from my time spent. Just so you know, time spent on the game is not even close to the amount you can make on minimum wage so don't even bother making it your career.

Since Blizzard gets 15% of all transactions, that means they earned roughly 38 dollars for that one item.
