RPGs? Install MyBoy in your android phone, and get a Golden Sun rom, or go and play Final Fantasy VI. Play Bastion ASAP (it's one of the best rated games in steam, if that means anything to you). Dark Souls games are cool, if you are kinda masochist.

7 Days to Die is awesome. Also maybe Dying Light(Not as much survival as 7dtd but still, it's amazing game).

Both are open world and sandbox, has awesome leveling and crafting system, however Dying Light isn't about building.

somebody here mentioned RE:zero and the first part. actually I didnt like RE:zero. Those switches between characters, meh. And the plot is about to be F*CKING ZERO, they didnt tell anything about bravo team, but they should. In my point of view the original-oriented RE'S are good :1,2,3,4 and veronica. Those are the example of classic survival game i guess.
Also here we can add silent hill, cant mark it as survival game through ( played like 5 games, i guess): i really liked "shattered memories". More over if u didnt heard about DINO CRISIS, check this out :D
Plus as a big fan of alliens, it would a shame to not recommend AlienVsPredator (the old one is nice as well as a new one). Again it's not survival (only if we're not talking about marines on hard dif).
I strongly recommend PATHOLOGIC. Unique game.I'm glad they did the HD version.

7 days to die is pretty decent. u can also remove zombies if ur not a fan of it. the devs constantly updates the game too
