yerp so i got my cash back and shopped elsewhere, im not having some stranger with my personal info. i advise to look at other places.

They did ask me for that kind of stuff the first time I bought there, yes. And I used PayPal. I did not want to give them my personal infos so I just sent an email saying I wouldn't do what they asked me and that I wanted the key I paid for.
Then, they said I could blank everything I wanted except the name and something else. I told them to go eff' themselves and that I would start a Paypal dispute if I did not get my key in the minute. They gave me my key right after that.

Yea, I sent them a scan of my passport. I edited it heavily, removing all info except picture, name, and country. They accepted it, no problems. This is roughly 4 years ago, iirc.

Scanned document? Ask them why Amazon doesn't sell outside US and instead they sell worldwide without any problem.

Not sure if it was my first order, but i do remember that i had to show my ID card (blanked out personal info obviously) and a piece of paper that said my order number, thats so they knew it was me and not someone else. had no problems ever since!

This happened to me on another site (which I can't remember now). They asked me for a copy of my ID and driver's licence. I replied I didn't have a driver's license because I didn't need to DRIVE A CAR, and my ID was PERSONAL.

Of course this happened AFTER I sent them the money via Paypal, so I told the support guy I wanted my game by the next day, a refund, or I'd open a ticket in Paypal and see what happened.

Got the game a few hours later.
