So I decided to give it in a nice hands of person who will most likely enjoy it. Maybe this person is you. I don't have any certain criteria by which I will choose. Just write in the comments why do you want to play it, what are you expecting from the game, what makes you interested in it? You can link any similar games you've played/finished in the past. Or just difficult games. The more arguments that proves you be worthy, the better. Well, similar to like it was done in this thread.

In short - show me your interest and maybe I will send GA link to you. You will have rather high chances if you get it as I plan to send it to about 10 people in total. Maybe a bit more. Of course, you should not share that link with anyone or the whole thing will be canceled.

Oh, almost forgot. Giveaway lasts till Sunday (April 2, 2017, 23:37 GMT+3), no level requirement.

P.S. You are very welcome to share your experience and opinions even if you're not interested in giveaway itself.

No opinion about it

how about As someone who already played it-referencing your PS I just bump this thread by saying its an absolutely amazing game that that will make you smash your brains (and controller cause please for the love of all that is holy don't try playing this without one) into everlasting dust.

then git gud
and learn that no role mode is a thing and there's no way you could ever complete it.
If anyone is able to complete hard mode they have my undying praise

Thank you. It was rather silent here before your comment... :) I actually finished the game on keyboard. Didn't give a proper try for "no roll" mode yet, but I find it doable for myself. While the hard mode with 1 life seems impossible to me. Well, one can say everything is possible, but it will require too much nerves and efforts to do.

I loved the game mainly for the atmosphere, design particularly in bosses. Most of them are "Figure out the weak point. Then kill it". It usually it doesn't take too much time to defeat the enemy after you've found its weakness (except a few which were tanky). At least it was so for me. Also music.

;_;

As someone who likes using my keyboard I found titan souls incredibly difficult (died 40 something times to the chess boss then changed to controller and beat it first try)
If you can do it I commend you. Any anyone else who can do so.

I found I knew what I was supposed to do to each boss nearly as soon as I started them but it still took me awhile to beat each one. But I apreaciated the effort put in to make each one unique.

Thank you :)

That's amazing if so :) I found local "puzzles" rather neat and not so easy.

+1
I found it perfectly hard, not too frustrating. It's really fair game, you need to make one shot to kill, or receive 1 hit to die.

Well, what do you expect from a game consisting only of bossfights, where most bosses die in one hit ?
Since you also die in a single hit, you'll have to keep retrieving the single arrow that is your only weapon, and the boss designs are wild and varied, you should expect a good challenge centered around timing and positiioning.

Isn't it charming though?
Maybe it's me being a bit of masochistic, but the game didn't seem that hard (except the bonus ending and a few bosses which needed more than just one hit)

I enjoyed it way more than I expected to. There are some neat tricks to finding some of the bosses, and the boss fights were surprisingly varied in mechanics and aesthetic despite the one-hit design philosophy. The aesthetic and tone of the game were also pretty darned good.

Exactly this. I also loved attention to the details. Like if you die from a gigantic blob jumping onto you, you see your corpse flowing inside of it before the game respawns player at checkpoint. And it goes pretty much for each boss. Such simple and useless from the first sight things, but the impact for the feeling of the game is incredible.

I've just gotten into the Dark Souls series, I love the fact that this game doesn't hold your hand and that you learn by trial and error where every death actually means something. You work your way trough an area to fight a boss. Every boss has its patterns and even if you learn them you can still get killed by making a simple mistake but if you manage to defeat it you actually feel like you've accomplished something.

If Titan Souls is anything like that, I'd love to give it a try.

Well, it has some similarities, but here the whole game consists only from bosses and you are traveling over the world to find them. So the idea is similar, yet not exactly the same.

From what I read it sounds quite similar though :p minus the trash mobs that you have in dark souls (which can be just as annoying as the bosses sometimes, lol). Bosses are fights of trial and error and you need to figure them out just right to get em down.

I am wondering if Titan Souls is a linear game or is it up to the player to decide where he wants to go explore and fight the bosses he wants?

It gives you much freedom in sense of where to go first and lets you pick your own order of bosses. But you need to defeat most of them to beat the game and it has only one ending*.

Only one ending is fine with me but the premise of free roam and kill bosses in whatever order you want is awesome!

Played. Beaten. Really enjoyed it. I beat every boss without using a guide. The game would suck if you used a guide. Figuring out the puzzle to beat each boss is what makes this game great!
Avoided the hard mode and didn't even bother trying for the ironman "no deaths" play.

Well. I had some fun with that title but i would never go for all achievements in it. Though it's a bit too short for my taste. Or it could have some optional storyline. Yes.

Same, yes. Though it didn't feel too short for me, I would like to uncover a bit more details about the plot and story.

To be honest, I want to play this because... I don't get it, I don't get the idea. Right, hard games are cool, I love dark souls, but there have to be something more, plot, curiosities, characters, as far as I know about that game there are only boss fights... I want to check if I'm wrong and I want to be wrong, but I'm hearing a lot of good stuff about it and I have no idea why!

Yes, I was curious about it as well before I got the game. I wasn't sure if I like it. But then surprisingly it felt very fitting for me.

That builds the atmosphere of loneliness and abandonment in game's world. Also there are a few nicely hidden places, and then there is forest you go up, but end up down; you go left, end up in the center and so on so it's interesting. But I can see that not everyone will like it. I think, if the game had the map of discovered things it would make things much better and comfortable for you.

I wasn't annoyed by the lack of the map, but by respawning so far away from I was. It didn't create an interesting atmosphere, but was just really annoying. My short review of the game is here.

I do like some battles, the level design is amazing too, alongside with the music, but the "walk of shame" kills the experience to me, even more when you're stuck with some assh*le, like the snow yeti. Besides that, the main idea is really cool, but I'm on the Pray for the Gods train for a real SOTC sucessor.

Can you specify what did you mean by "walk of shame"? And thanks for the heads-up. I somehow didn't know about Pray for the Gods.

It's about traveling back to the boss who killed you, walking back to the (sometimes far away) arena to get your ass kicked again.

Let me see if I get it. This is a game with a SotC atmosphere, a pixelated stile like in the old times, a punishing gameplay like DarkSouls and one hit is enough to kill you? Oh, yeah!! I'm totally in! Now I need this sooo bad.

I have this game in my wishlist for quite a while. I didn't try a demo because when I start to play a game I need to finish it. But I must admit I don't know very much about it. I love the graphics and music from the trailer. Only game that looks similiar is binding of Isaac that I enjoyed a lot but I guess this is a little different. From what I have read it should give a player quite a challenge which is something I really miss in most of the games. I love challenging games but I dont like the system when with increasing difficulty the only thing that changes is that your enemies last longer and it gets pretty boring. I don't know what exactly should I expect from this game but I am pretty sure that I will enjoy it and finish it, hopefully. I am looking forward to play this game if I'll get a chance to win it.

No, there are almost no similarities between Isaac and Titan Souls. You can check comments above to get better opinion of the game. And yes, it's a very fair kind of a challenging game, in my opinion.

Some of the giveaways names were wrong, you should totally delete them and redo the full train. Next time try to check better while picking them. Or perhaps was a typo on the link, or perhaps I can't read correctly, or ... I'm so bored that I'm typing just because boredom...

bump

Yes, that wasn't even a train and it was not supposed to be part of this thread. I just made some random giveaways with which I wanted to do something, but then got creative block. So if you were searching for them here as part of some puzzle, I'm sorry.

I will redo them of course, just need to decide how better to organize

I played not so long ago and its pretty good.
I loved that every battle required to be quick and precise with the arrow, and that moment of silence after killing the boss was pure satisfaction.
