Death to Spies Problem

Whenever I launch Death to Spies or Death to Spies: Moment of Truth from Steam, it plays the beginning credits and then crashes (smersh.exe has stopped working). My PC meets all of the requirements, so idk what's wrong with it. Anyone know what's wrong?

I had the same problem, just go to the game's folder and delete the video files. They have a special extension I can't remember
