Was using the Steam BETA somewhere from February 2003 (yes there was a steam client then) to play CS, TF (now classic) and CS 1.6. I was playing CS also from BETA from 1999-ish. Those were to good old CS days, where the game was a lot more fun due to more realistic damage and physics than it has now.
Steam deleted all accounts from that BETA unfortunately, so I had to make a new account when steam finally went public in september 2003. First game I registered was of course Half Life, 1 minute later the CS patch and from thereon, the steam client never left my quickstart bar.
How many of you know the good old CS days where a bunny-hopper was KING?

Christmas of 2007, one of my friends gave me CS:S because he'd been bugging me to play. Didn't get much use of Steam for a few years down the line though.
