So, um, I have XCOM 2 installed and can help out with the multiplayer achievement if anyone wants it... (It takes ~5 minutes to do.)

EDIT 2: The update just went through. Multiplayer is gone, but the Legacy Hub challenges still work, so only the one achievement is inaccessible. Unfortunately, they didn't delete the achievement.

And don't forget to do a challenge too, since those are also going away. Go into the Legacy Hub, pick Challenge Archives, and win any match there. I found Operation Drunken Laughter pretty easy: You get four Andromedons against a bunch of Berserkers and Chryssalids, and you can probably hit all three enemy groups with at least one acid bomb pretty easily.

Can't seem to find the Legacy Hub in the main menu. Is it something that's only available through one of its dlcs? I only have the base game.

Yeah, it's from the Tactical Legacy Pack. It may also require War of the Chosen, I don't know for sure because I have both.

The XCOM series is great. And since there is a progression in the story from game to game, I recommend that you finish the campaign of the first game before starting the second.

You can delete achievements. its weirder you can still do them on a steam deck and such though.

Yeah, I've played several games where the developer has removed achievements related to features they've discontinued. But in my experience, that's the exception rather than the rule. It's always best to be safe and get them if you're the type of player who'd be bothered by a potentially impossible 100%.

Hey, I recently had this issue too, where I would win multiple multiplayer matches and the achievement wouldn't activate. The solution that worked for me was to log out of Steam, then log back in.

host the multiplayer game and exit at the start of the first round, play without any dlc by the way, it should work

Finally got it with the patient help of someone. Vanilla launch option, I hosted, he exited after I scored first kill, and it popped. :D
