Longest game you played

I have over 200 hours in a single save in Final Fantasy X International on my PS2, but I have spent more time on multiple saves in Borderlands 2 on PC.

It's not that long if you already played it. But I refused to use walkthroughs or hints of any kind. It took me months to complete it on my own. When it comes to total hours played it's still not the longest game, but it's the one that kept me playing it in the long term.

There are plenty of other long games that I've beaten. Most turnbased strategy (TBTs tend to vary more) with a proper campaign tend to be pretty darn lengthy. Be it the Heroes of Might & Magic series, Panzer General or Battle Isle, those campaigns take time. I've also played, but not beaten, Wizardry 6-8, and those are really lengthy as well.

Should be Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate on my 3DS, completing so called storyline took me about 260 hours, could have been faster but did some sidethings. If I ever try to do every mission, it would probably take me double that time though.

Tetris. It's never ending story. Bricks falling and falling...

If only counting the main story, probably Etrian Odyssey IV

Finished my Divinity: Original Sin playthrough one week ago.It took me 107 hours to complete everything,reading every dialogue,stealing every golden fork and stuff.

Gothic 3 was my longest game, I played 200+ hours to beat it. Actually the game is not too long but I died almost every second, thanks to the lot of bugs and bad fight system. (On hardest difficult and do the most quest possible.)

Played +4,000 hours on a free-to-play rhythm game made by chineses called Super Dancer Online.
Acclaim got the rights to make a server and a translation of it for USA & Europe to play it.
I spent 3 full years on that game non-stop. The right definition of having no life.

2nd is TrackMania United, +1,600 hours. I was spending all my time in Freestyle servers joking with people.
I wasn't good enough to play competitions.

It's been a year I don't use xfire. I mean, who still uses it ?

Well in Skyrim I had about 120+ hours, but I played the Pokemon games even longer, especially Emerald, I had 200+ hours on that one alone

Team Fortress 2 , 2846 hours played. But theres a lot of idle time in that total. Still , 2846 hours is a lot for a game that you can't simply finish.

Definitely RPGs, Dragon Quest VIII took me years to complete.

Singleplayer:

• I played Gothic 2 about 1000 hours (I am sure). I played it like everyday for about 2-3 years.
• I also played Gothic 3 for something like 500+ hours.
• On Steam its Borderlands with 27 played hours.
• Origin: Fifa 14 - 107 played hours

Multiplayer:

• On Steam: Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 with 512 played hours.
• Also Call of Duty: Black Ops with 82 played hours.
• On Origin: Battlefield 3 with 24 played hours.

Singleplayer: Just Cause 2 120hrs
Multiplayer: Battlefield 3 250hrs or Call of Duty 4 don't have measured time
MMO: Hero Online for 4years on daily basses
