As someone that lives in Costa Rica, I remember seen a lot of them as kid but nowadays it's hard to find them, your best chance to see them is in a zoo
they aren't becoming extinct because of pollution, it is mostly because everyone is building everywhere no matter what

Habitats
The pugrilla lives in a beautiful ecosystem in the rainforest of Costa Rica. Pugrilla's originated in Jamaica but they rode dolphins over to Costa Rica.
Diet
The Pugrilla likes banana splits because....
You would think that the pugrilla would eat eucalyptus leaves but they don't because they have some sort of chemical in it that is extremely bad for the pugrilla.
Human Impacts
Have you ever thought about what could happen too the pugrilla's if they didn't have a decent place to live? Well we humans are ruining the pugrilla's and a lot of other organisms home's. The pugrilla lives in a beautiful place but it is also polluted. We need to stop polluting the animals homes and GO GREEN!!!!
Also Pugrilla likes Jack, because they're both handsome.
