Is anyone having problems adding F2P games to the library using the add to library button?

Workaround is to start a download and cancel and it's added to the library. It was working some time ago don't know if it's my end or Steam.

It hasn't worked properly for about a week now, it's some sort of bug on Steam's end. However, it only seems to happen when trying to do it from a web browser, it works just fine if done from the Steam client itself.

Bug is fixed for browsers with Chromium engine using SteamDB extension 3.6.8. Users of Mozilla's Gecko engine have to wait until this update is released for their browsers.

I'm using Edge and Opera with that same extension and version and it's giving me that same error.

Well, I failed to be more specific. What I really meant the "add free packages" function of SteamDB is fixed. If it works on Steam store in browser with the extension enabled I haven't tested.
Edit: Just tested with Edge and extension for https://store.steampowered.com/app/2119270/Black_Reliquary/ and it works in browser from the Steam store page.

Edit: Just wanted to add to your comment that people who are still having this problem after updating browser and using steamdb extension 3.6.8 that you have to logout of steam account and login again. It will work then
