Is anyone know if there is a site like steamgifts that does gun skins?
That would be a cool concept right?

There are skins of various values. By the way, there are cheaper skins on the market than the minimum sold by games.

Why would that be a cool concept lol.
This site is about giving games = experiences to others. Giving skins is just like giving money... just go to some csgo gambling website or something, there are sometimes giveaways there.

it would be pretty cool if steamgifts just created a section for giving away steam items too aside from just games perhaps. It could go beyond just csgo guns it can be other game gun skins or those penny cards lol.

Just a few things that came to my mind:

  • Every user's inventory must be public.
  • Winner cannot sell or trade items, that will cause a suspension.
  • Inventory items cannot add to CV since there is no fixed price for them.

Basically that idea is born dead, sorry.

The idea could still be adopted in some capacity, there just wouldnt much award for the person giving away.

Not everyone will want to open inventory, you cannot force people. You cannot prove that person got the item unless their inventory is public, hence SG cannot see that. If everyone's inventory isn't always public, SG cannot see that item in the future so cannot say if it's received or not, same with the sold / traded items. Also this can be easily exploitable. If you still want this to happen, SG is not a place for that.

Played csgo for 2,541 hrs its was amazing till 2019 afterwards its full of toxic mindless kids with zero game sense. All the skins are useless if the game is Sh!t and full of adult with 9yr old mentality.
