Given a fake negative feedback on steamtrades, what can I do?

I had the same thing... Can't do anything about it.
At the end, I made a deal with the guy. I removed my -rep if he removed mine.

You guys know theres a FAQ on SteamTrades, too, right?

Submit a ticket here, and support will remove it.
Giving revenge -rep may get you suspended.

Steamgifts and Steamtrades support is the same support.
Basically, Steamtrades uses the same support page as Steamgifts.

You misunderstood.

What I meant was that I traded with a user, and he scammed me. I gave him a negative rep, and HE is the one who gave me a revenge negative rep.

I then submitted a support ticket and waited 3 months for support to help me get rid of my revenge -rep...
At the end, I decided to contact the scammer and both of us removed each other's negative rep.

By the way, yes, I was agreeing with you, but I was just adding some details to avoid confusion with newbies. :)

Surely that wasn't the best option? He scammed you, you should warn another people of that through the -rep.

I couldn't wait... I needed to trade now. Besides, I didn't have any proof or chat log, so support couldn't help me. But it has been a while, I just forgot about it all.
Also, this was WAY more complicated than that. I won't go into any details or I'll have to type a while of text. >,,,,<

Best thing to do is place a support ticket here. Make sure you include as much proof as you can that the -rep is not justified. (Grab a screenshot if possible, don't rely on any ST thread to remain as it is now)

heh, I don't want to link to anything since I guess that would be calling out? But the guy has no actual rep of his own, and was VAC banned 114 days ago. It sounds like you hopefully won't have too much trouble removing your -rep.

It's been over 3 months, but since it's from a scammer(he has his account suspended) I think there will be no problem removing it.
