Hey, don't know what to watch tonight so, just wondering what is your favorite movie(s) ?
My pick would be Fight Club and/or The Pursuit of Happyness.

Also here is my list from last year for some not that well known good movies:
10 Awesome Movies That You (Probably) Haven't Seen
If the post gets some attention, I will make a new list.

Ex Machina and Mad Max: Fury Road are probably my favs. Also Guillermo del Toro's movies usually end up being high on my list.

Well I guess if I had to pick just one I'd have to go with a somewhat "boring" one and pick The Godfather.
Boring, as in it is pretty widely considered to be one of the best movies of all time, but that is for a good reason.
I wouldn't say I was very interested in the premise when I first saw it, but the movie is just so well made, the brilliance is undeniable.
All the elements just work together seamlessly and makes for a truly magnificent piece of art.

Edit: Oh yeah and OP, I think it's quite a stretch for some of those movies to be on your list of movies people "probably" haven't seen.
I mean at least as a person who is a bit of a movie buff, I've seen most of those, and if a person has seen any anime, they've probably seen Spirited Away :D.
But yeah I guess most of those can still be considered movies people probably haven't seen, if they're not that into movies.
Into The Wild and Zodiac are probably in my top20 movies of all time and both are at least in my top10 movies of the past 15 years.
Funnily enough, I've actually rewatched a lot of those movies (The Exam, Zodiac, Stranger Than Fiction, Mr. Nobody) in the past year or so and I don't even watch that many movies these days, rewatch even less, so it's a pretty weird coincidence :D.

House II
not the best, but definitely the weirdest. Start watching a horror movie, go to make some popcorn, and it's an indiana jones type of adventure; go get a drink, and it's a frat comedy; bathroom break, and it's a western

I'd say Blue Velvet is the one I rewatch the most. Carpenter's The Thing would be a close 2nd.

Momento, Fight Club, and Shutter Island for WTF kind
And many more. Please don't make me choose ._.

I think it was the music that finished selling me between the 2, but the original is definitely up there. I can stomach that a whole lot more than I can the old Star Wars movies 0_o

One awesome movie that not a lot of people have seen is

Millenium Actress

Maybe because of prejudices. Don't miss this masterpiece.

I've seen that maybe more than a decade ago and again, earlier this year. Good story and excellent animation.

That's an anime classic. Better than most live action films in terms of it's emotional depth and poignancy.

I actually have seen Into The Wild! :D
We watched it at school, haha. Didn't think it was that great though.
I also know Spirited Away.

My favourite though? I'm not so sure. I stopped watching movies a few years ago.
Do parodies count? If so, I love the parodies a German YouTuber made of the Harry Potter films (she just re-dubbed them and now I just can't take the films serious anymore).

Was it as bad as what they did to Death Race? I hate when they ruin a...brand (?)...just to sell the name :'(

I didn't watch Death Race. But Sin City 2: A Dame To Kill For is no bad movie, it's just... not as brilliant as the first one.

Ah, DR is a decent movie but man they butchered the sequels. I am glad Sin City 2 was saved from being Sharknado-ed XD
