Hey, don't know what to watch tonight so, just wondering what is your favorite movie(s) ?
My pick would be Fight Club and/or The Pursuit of Happyness.

Also here is my list from last year for some not that well known good movies:

If the post gets some attention, I will make a new list.

It's been a while since I've watched it, but since that's the first version I saw, I don't actually hate the Theatrical Release (TR). Having a voiceover does make it hamfisted in terms of saying "It's the future, but we're doing a Film Noir detective story? Get it? Get it?" The car driving off into the wilderness was a bad choice for the ending, as well, though I don't hate it as much as many critics of it do (it's mostly offensive in being a studio's attempt to rewrite something to a happy ending, though it does damage the setting a bit by presenting that a better life awaits people in the Rockies; in the movie, if you want something better than L.A., you need to he healthy enough to move off-world).

Bit of trivia: the last clip in the TR was footage recorded for the opening for Kubrick's The Shining, which Kubrick allowed Scott to use. Here's the point where the TR ending dissolves into Kubrick's aerial footage: Blade Runner: Theatrical Release Ending

The opening to the Shining doesn't show the exact same terrain, but was taken in the same region and possibly on the same flight as the 'happy ending' for the Blade Runner TR...though if they're headed up to the Overlook Hotel, should we assume they have a happy ending in store for them?

Do you mean the Director's Cut, or the Final Cut? Blade Runner Versions

FC's the most recent revision and fixes a few things (such as getting the count of replicants wrong when Bryant tells Deckard about the job and an attempt to fix Zhora's death scene), though it also has Deckard dreaming of a unicorn while sitting at the piano, which I could have done without. Overall, though, I think the FC's the superior cut - it looks and sounds much better, with them fixing the audio in a few spots and the transfer looking great on Blu-Ray.

Blade Runner - there's also an insider alternate cut that is comprised entirely of alternate scene shots.

I wish I could give you a link but DMCA takedowns mean they never last long.

Of course, the novella it's based on Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep has additional characters, characters and sub-plots.

It's mostly The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring. All the LOTR movies were great actually! :D
Also, another really awesome movie is V for Vendetta. I just love it! ^_^

I don't have one favorite movie, just a bunch that I truly like and wouldn't mind watching several times more: Fight Club, Se7en, Donnie Darko, Memento, The Ring (both original and remake), Dark Knight, Old Boy, Sympathy for Lady Vengeance, The Others, and probably a dozen more...

Se7en is such an underrated movie. I mean... Kevin Spacey's performance is stunning.

It's probably Metropolitan. But it almost a 100 years old, so I cannot recommend for everyone. Oh, The Ugly Swans is nice too. And it's modern one, much easier to watch.

Forgetting Sarah Marshall

Hawaii, Russell Brand, and a hot Mila Kunis who doesn't sound like Meg in this one movie. I just find every line in the movie clever and hilarious.

I admit that I tend to be biased and judge all Italian/Spanish style westerns against the standard of "Once Upon A Time In The West", but I need to go back and watch this.
