I will never get why people would buy video cards from manufacturers like Gigabyte, Asus or MSI when on the market there are manufacturers like EVGA, Gainword and Plait. I want to mention that EVGA are the premium manufacturers of nVidia. If today nVidia launch a new model on the market, tomorrow you will find EVGA in stores. 2 months later the same model is launched by Asus with a diffrent design and if you test both of them you notice that EVGA is at least 10% faster. Also all drivers from nVidia are tested on EVGA.

I have a Gigabyte card (and mobo) and i have had no problems

EVGA seems best for Nvidia, maximum OCs and even less temperature than others not OC. They do also only Nvidia cards, it's like Sapphire for AMD, I like Sapphire a lot, they also give good free stuff on their page, EVGA must have something good too if they're focused only in Nvidia. I would normally prefer a brand that works only with a specific company than one that works with both.

Whichever one you can get the best deal on bearing in mind that Asus and Gigabyte (and MSI) usually offer better cooling and EVGA offer some goodies like the Step-Up program if that sort of thing interests you.

Who cares which brand it is? It all depends on quality/price.

I used to like Gigabyte, but I had some very bad experiences and just never went back -- the same reason I don't use ATI products or eat at Wendy's anymore. ASUS and MSI make some fantastic products and I've not had any trouble with either. My current gaming system uses a Z87-GD65 motherboard from MSI, but I strongly considered ASUS when I was shopping.
I currently run with an EVGA GeForce 770 and I really like it, it runs cool and very fast. My last 3 gaming cards were EVGA cards as well, and they are still running flawlessly today in other systems. EVGA may not offer lifetime warranties anymore, but the warranties are at least transferable if you decide to dump your card on eBay.

As some of you know, I will be getting a new graphics card.
Before I do, which brand should I look at getting?
