You can now link your Steam account with Xbox

I will start to care 25% if somehow xbox achievements linked to Steam achievements and vice versa.

As always, we can dream that buying games on one platform will equal to getting it on all platforms someday that will never come.

The only thing I've noticed it does so far is notify a friend on Xbox if you launch any titles that use Steamworks. He said that it says TacticaL is now playing Dota 2! etc, seems to only work with Steamworks games.

its just Microsoft collecting your personal data... doesnt do anything of value.

Probably related to upcoming Steam releases like Gears of War and Halo that still use Xbox features/connectivity.

If they somehow shared the achievements, it would be interesting, it would ease my OCD a little.

where can i find that option ?

If it puts my existing Gears games on Steam (even just on PC for 1-3) I’d be stoked.

Maybe something to do with the upcoming Halo master chief collection?
