COD 4 MW Sale.

As far as I know, it doesn't make a difference for Steam (I have in the past gotten a "mac version" of a DLC have no problem working with the "normal version" of a base game) but you should probably wait until someone checks it out. Y'know, just to be sure. ;)

edit: unless the key activates a version that isn't SteamPlay compatible.. hmm maybe steer clear of the mac keys until you find some1 who can confirm it works.. or at 5€ you could always just take the chance

CoD4MW was on sale at StackSocial some time ago. It was for Mac, but worked for Windows as well.

damn i was about to ask if it would work for win users as that pretty damn cheap for COD 4 and its the only version (Mac) on the website

Everyone is saying that it works on Steam as Windows version as well as Mac version. There are Call of Duty games that have a separate Mac and Windows version, but it isn't this one.

Might have buy this if people still play it. CoD4 and WaW (We all know that WaW was just a reskin of CoD 4. It had the same engine, same feel same everything, but I liked the fact that it was a really well made WW2). After that the games were just broken.

That game was broken. A few glitches to get into some stuff where people shouldn't shoot you from, many guns being overpowered, shotguns being used as secondaries and the AA12 being one of the most used guns in the game. Combined that with the INSANE noobtubes the game's multiplayer was broken. There were only like 3 good guns to use and the map design was pretty poor.
