A question regarding PC downloads at Game

Okay so Game has this sale going on. I wanna buy Bioshock 2 there but I highly doubt you get a key redeemable on Steam, but if anyone knows for sure whether you can or not, can you let me know?

That site looks outdated, Borderlands 2 and fifa 13 release dates TBD?
And on top it states: PC download deals but behind the games it states free UK delivery?
Weird site you've got there, I think it would be smart to purchase bioshock 2 somewhere else. (steamtrades maybe?)

It seems you don't know this site, Game is the only real physical game-store in the UK basically, so it's not a case of this being a dodgy site, it's a case of me wondering whether their PC downloads will come with a Steam redeemable key.

It's not that it looks dodgy, but the fact that it has contradicting statements on the same page and really outdated info, which leads me to believe that the site hasn't been kept up to date properly so the prices might reflect that.
And the reason I referred you to steamtrades is because of all the copies that people have after the game was in bundles and given away for free with pre-orders.
This version looks like a non-steam version btw since it's a games for windows release.

I agree, the site really isn't as good as it should be :P and yeah I've been trying on Steamtrades for a few days now but no luck yet

Hmmm I'll hold off then until someone else maybe buys it first and confirms it xD I really dislike having PC games that are not on Steam, like having Bioshock 1 on Gamefly...

It isn't Steam redeemable. Looking at other downloads it states if the game requires Steam. It's probably downloaded and then activated with GFWL.

No, you're right.. I was about to say the same thing. At least here in Australia they went bankrupt anyway. Shut all their stores, and caused a big uproar coz this was just around the time Diablo III came out and they were so broke they couldn't actually afford to order the games to give to people who preordered.. then Blizzard came along and saved the day with freebies for people with preorder receipts.

They kinda did, then got saved after a while, a LOT of their stores had already shut though by the time they were saved, including my local one -.-
