Retro-art : The Binding of Isaac Rebirth

Hello guys !

I wonder if you like the new art direction of the game, because I'm really not sure if it will be good due to the amount of items and mobs :/

Hmm, looking at the mockups, it doesn't seem to be straying so awfully from the original drawings. And it's not like it was a pretty game to begin with :')

It's a shame he's going for the Retro graphic look in my opinion. It's a little bit over saturated in the indie market currently. I much prefer the vector artstyle, has a lot of personality to it.

Unfortunately it's possible the game will change for good.

Quoting the dev:
"Having both art styles ISNT AN OPTION! there is going to be a lot of new content and i dont have the time to make tons of new art and animation while working on Mew-Genics and the new Super Meat Boy, trust me, youll forget allll about your issues with the graphics once you play the game late next year (we hope)"

The original is a Flash game and it has already not the best performance. It wouldn't work when he adds the features to it, Flash has too many limitations or the game would have a much worse performance. And probably current owners would get a discount like it was with The Basement Collection.
