I also have issues, both mental and physical, and I've been made fun of since being a kid. Do I wish for others not to be allowed to make fun of me ? No, I either ignore it, or if I really have a problem with it, I stand up to it. I don't want a third party to step in and say "please be nice to him, he has issues".

I wasn't active when Konrads got any kind of comments towards him. I did however speak up during the whole "bundle thread creating" debate.
The line is drawn by the person on the receiving end of the abuse, if that person feels personally offended by the matter, thats when someone needs to step in and make some kind of stance on the matter.

Here's the thing, I tried to ignore it, I've been told many times by many users that they are trolls and to ignore them, there comes a point though when things get more and more personal and more and more nasty that you snap and say enoughs enough.
Your job is 100% to stop conflict between users, that's the job of a moderator, to moderate the forums. I don't think you are moderating at all, unless your stance is its ok to make people feel bad, which appears to be the case here.
My point of pointing to previous events, is to show you how these little "making fun of people" escalate incredibly quickly. Just because someone is well known, it does not give them the right to say horrible things and have it passed off as a bit of harmless fun. Harm HAS been done, dress it up however you like, ignoring it and flat out refusing to talk about isn't going to do anything other than make the issue worse.
A user has openly called another user names and made light of their mental state, first time, repeat offence, that is bullying. Allowing it to continue is not something that should be allowed period.
I may be speaking slightly out of line when I say "there's more" pertaining to Steff specifically, but there is more within a specific group of people, which she is a member of. Again bullying doesn't have to be done by one specific person repeatedly, it can be done by groups of people taking turns with the bullying.
I have sumbitted a ticket, I definitely wanted to sort this out in some fashion, but sure I'll "officially" complain about it.

I expected him to clarify to you who the comment was about once it was clarified to him about the origin of that comment.
However, for whatever reason, he chose not to do so and continued to insist it was about Chicken. I knew immediately who it was about, and so did at least one other person, who said as much on Wallister's own thread (to which he insisted it wasn't).
Regardless, as I asked: isn't him calling me a "retard" directly bullying?
And if you look at my comments to Chicken, before any of this ever started, I provided well-meaning, mature, and helpful advice from someone (me) who also suffers from depression. Having read the conversation I had with Mully, Wallister already knew that, and decided to go ahead and attack anyway. Long story short, he did exactly what he's supposedly crusading against.
I'm not saying who is guilty or of what they are guilty here -- I am saying if one is guilty, then the other is just as guilty.

I didn't poke fun at Chicken's mental state. Not in the slightest. I volunteer my time to help people in her mental state at a local drug/alcohol rehab clinic. Oh, that's something else you didn't know about me, though I've posted it in other threads.
I lent advice gained through personal experience to Chicken, which was later mocked by you, so you did at least read that. I was nothing but nice to her, and was called a retard for my trouble. I honestly meant what I said to her.
At any rate, you're doing exactly what you claim everyone else is doing, and that makes you no better than those about which you're ranting. Yes, we don't like each other, but only one of us is name-calling and slinging shit here, and it's certainly not me.

Good, I'm glad you volunteer your time to help others, that's commendable of you. I help disabled children or have done in the past mentally unable to currently, it is a rewarding experience. I also have done aid work in Africa.

Well, Steffke surely doesn't have a good attitude in order to make a polite conversation with him/her, so Wallister had the right attitude against him/her. But anyway, I appreciate that you said sorry to her.

It can be treated and controlled - for a time. There is no "cure", only the possibility for corneal transplants, which cost $30,000 per eye and I don't have insurance. $60,000 is the price of a decent house here. Regardless, I don't want or need sympathy, and that's why I haven't bothered (except for posting in Treeb's recent thread about depression) posting about it anywhere.
As far as the bullying goes, if one side is bullying here, then so is the other side. Making a distinction between "name-calling" and "bullying" is just a cop-out. This has been one-sided for hours and during much of that time I've been quiet and watching.
If Wallister wasn't bullying me and Mully, then surely Steffke wasn't bullying Chicken or Wallister. Either way, Mully is bullying no one and hasn't even been here until recently.
As I've said. I will remain civil until I can no longer be civil, I am hoping that time doesn't come. :)

Thanks, I wasn't trying to be rude, just emphasizing that I didn't tell you about it for sympathy. It was to emphasize that we all have problems, big or small, and that attacking anyone openly is equally as bad because of that. The bit about Mully was directed at everyone.
I'm using these experimental chemicals just approved by the FDA to cut the swelling in my eyes, but they "suck" all the moisture out of my eyes (since Fuch's is a fluid build-up under the cornea), and burn like all hell. It's keeping things relatively controlled for now, but there's not much that can be done about the constant pain. I also have Fuch's epithelial along with the endothelial, which means my eyes scar and don't heal clear, so yeah ... eventual blindness without cornea transplants or a procedure where they "peel" your eyeball with lasers and has to be done every few years. None of it's fun, but whatever, it's part of life.
I've learned to accept it and live with it.

If I wanted to get attention, I'd certainly have had more comments in the 3 years I've been here. I actually remained anonymous for a long time. I hate the "attention", I've gone about my life for months ignoring any jibes directed towards me, carrying on doing events for the community.

What people were however suggesting was that, at least for a while, turn off the PC, go outside, get some fresh air, spend some time with your GF, forget about SG, get a good nights sleep. It is very easy to for us to let our emotions carry us away. Believe me I've done it a few times at critical moments where I wish I'd had someone telling me hey, let's go get some fresh air and cool our heads. And hate/anger will NEVER lead to anything good.
And just to clarify, I know very little about this conflict. I've only read about it for like an hour or so. And don't take this the wrong way, but as a random guy who doesn't know what's going on behind the curtains, you're coming off at the bad guy at the moment with your angry comments.
