Been playing Ark: Survival Evolved, Halo Wars 2, Astroneer, State of Decay 2, Metro: Exodus, and Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice and I only paid $1. Microsoft is trying to set up the Netflix of games here, and I'm digging it.

Get your first month for $1

There is a special price still going on, you get your first month access for $1. I would hurry there's no telling when this promotion will end. Then it's $5 per month while Game Pass is in beta on PC, then it will go back up to the normal $10 per month on PC, the same as on the Xbox console.

Xbox App for Windows 10

Windows 10 Updater

Here is the full list of games available

So many games, so little time.

I would really like to know how long the 1€ promotion will last.

Xbox Game Pass on PC is really great, you should try it

Just because he adds already mentioned information as an extra, doesn't mean we just can't have opinion threads anymore. The more we go this route, the less threads we'll have.
The whitelist threads have been scrutinized, the cake day threads have been scrutinized, the political threads have been scrutinized, the train threads get flak. Now that opinions are not wanted either, there pretty much is nothing more than some deals and cg's announcements. :D

I just mentioned there was a thread about it. Maybe it included some extra information there that wasnt in this one.

And besides, opinions are great for bumping threads that already exists.

I would totally get it if they weren't using it to make people go to Windows 10. No thank you.

It's not a bad deal, but I'd rather just pay once for my games.

Same here. It's not a business model I care for. It's a step towards a future where you have to pay a monthly fee just to retain access to the games you want and I don't like the thought of that (speaking more so of cloud gaming). For similar reasons I've also always purposely avoided games that had a recurring subscription fee. Anyway I would despise being forced to lease something when I would much rather buy it.

I enjoy getting to play a bunch of games I'm curious about but would not necessarily purchase. Pretty neat to be able to "see what all the fuss is about" without plunking down $60.

But, I like it at $1/mo. And I like it for a second month at $5. Unless they add more games, that's probably it for me. And it's not worth it for me at $10/mo.

Yea, If they include a sensible discount to purchase games you play a lot, I may be interested.

Definitely not a bad idea or price, especially if you're the type to play something once and that's it. I'd rather own my games but it's a good option

So many games, so little time.

This is the problem for me. I just can't imagine that I would actually play the games. I have so many unplayed games already, it seems silly to pay a monthly fee for more.

How is Metro Exodus?

Personally speaking, I love this move by microsoft and found everything a breeze to install and play. The only issue I had was with malwarebytes giving me the blue screen of death but once I removed it everything was perfect. Metro is gorgeous and plays like a dream. I have tried out about 10 games so far and I will be subscribing to it yearly rather than getting my games from say steam, humble bumble, fanatical etc. Great deal at a euro :)

I don't think that 1€ per month is an ongoing thing. It'll be 1€ per month for the promotion, but it won't just be 12€ per year.

Perhaps that's not what you meant, though that's what I read out from it from the " I will be subscribing to it yearly rather than getting my games from say steam, humble bumble, fanatical etc. Great deal at a euro" part.

I like the idea of renting games to try before you buy, but that's what a demo is for in most cases.

Too bad it isn't available in my country. I'll definitely try it.

Die Anmeldeseite ist verwirrrend da steht 3,99€ statt 9,99 - und dann steht für 1€ anmelden. Ist das die 1€ Aktion? oder kostet das dann 3,99+1 im ersten Monat ?

Hehe, Nope didn't expect it for $1 a month and know it's going to be $10 a month which is fine by me. Sorry if I didn't make it clear but good deal with the promotion - don't ever see Sony do anything for the gamers lol.

I already have over 500 games in my Steam collection that I haven't touched. I don't see the point in subscribing to more games that I won't be playing any time soon.

The idea is great, performance is shit. I cannot install most of the titles I'm interested in due to some kind of errors. Tried Wolfenstein II and Metro Exodus, no dice. Tried Astroneer - installed fine but won't launch. Tried Ruiner and it's working so I get that going which is nice...

Kingdom Come: Deliverance just got added.

The pass is so good, I took the 3 more months for 3,99 option.

Does it actually work for you, already? I can see both Kingdom Come and Ape Out on the page, but, when I click them I get "Sorry, Partner! Looks like you're stuck in No Man's Land! Try restarting the app to fix it." Of course clicking the restart button did nothing, as did restarting windows.
