I not a fan of pre-built systems. For example, Besides the CPU and Video Card, there is much in the form of specific parts. The FX-4130 is a good if you weren't going to get a video card, but since this system has a one (and a bad one, at that), it doesn't make much sense. I would say build your own, its not that hard.

I would just buy the parts and build it yourself. It's not that hard to figure out, considering you have the unlimited resources of the internet, and you get a lot better bang for your buck that way. Plus it's sort of fun.

It's good deal for that price although you might need to replace the gfx card soon if you get it.

It is definitely not a gaming PC, it's a home PC with LEDs. At best, you can use the Blue LEDs to cool your system, but red ones are for faster graphics.

You can hold yourself over for a little bit if you buy a AMD Radeon HD 7770 or Nvidia GTX 650 which are both around $100~115, but a better system in general is recommended.

Terrible excuse. It is super easy, but more importantly, you get to pick higher quality components. What is your budget and where do you live? I ask the latter because there are many places that will assemble the PC for 50-100 bucks.

700w PSU for a single graphics card? A 7770 even.

1 decade ago
Permalink

Haha. You don't need more than 400w for that, if even that.

You deleted your reply, but your choice is terrible. Build from scratch, choose better components, save money.

It will not be good UNLESS you put some racing stripes on it. Everybody knows that racing stripes make everything faster.

You couldn't pay me enough to use an iBUYPOWER P.O.S., that graphics card is a joke, and I'm guessing that you need a bigger power supply before even considering a better graphics card.

As everyone else has said, build your own. You can build a pretty nice PC for $600 if you do your shopping right. If you don't feel comfortable building your own there's always a 12 year old around somewhere who would be willing to do it for you.

Build your own, way better.

Why,i know how to but i don't want to screw up

1 decade ago
Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

Because you can build it for your needs and it's 'cheaper'. Cheaper depends, I would spend a bit more than $500 but that way you'll get a good PC. The one you linked needs to many things replaced, which makes it more expensive than just building your own.

don't buy the ibuypower wa550b because the nVIDIA GeForce 630 GT graphics card is junk and the 300 watt apex power supply is inadequate for a better graphics card

i'm changing both

You might as well build from scratch then since changing the PSU alone would be 75% of the work....might as well get a better system for the money and put in the extra 25% work(Screwing down motherboard, HDD's, and putting in CPU).

ibuypower PC's are built like crap, would take a Dell over them.
