Pff I never even visit main SG page for giveaways. Only wishlist, recommended and discussions. And I don't understand why to hide wishlisted games

If you hide all the games you are not interested in, the main giveaway list becomes a way to find new games you have not heard of that you may want to play. I only ever have to view a game once and if I am not interested, I never see it again. This is actually the only way I find new games.

In theory there are recommendations to help to find similar to my taste games (and most hyped games too). But actually I'm not in hurry to win more because my wishlist and backlog grow faster then the list of completed games

Depends on how you define "hidden". There are "only" 2776 in my filter, but I don't see Windows-only games, so in practice it's a lot higher than that.

it feels quite clean when you got 18,353 hidden, but unfortunately have regretted some of hides (either find out in some trains or just curiousity whether I have hidden it)

Oh, nice. :D I had that option turned off, so by default I did not saw DLC for which I dont own the base game, but now I turned it on... and now I gained additional 59 things for my hidden list :D

So far I'm at 16,299 and counting. I own 6,175 games though so I don't get to filter as much as I'd like. Many games I own came from a lot of trash bundles when I thought I had to buy them all.

Yeah. I'm old enough that when digital games first became cheap I was like, "Man, I gotta grab these. These are too good a deal to pass up!" But then the cheap kept comin' and it don't stop comin'... And then one day I was like, forget it, man. I'm not buyin' any more games unless I actually want them. And even that's too many!

4,292 hidden games. I kind of gave up on hiding games awhile ago, because so many of the games I hid were trash games that woud disappear as soon as they appeared, so I wasn't really making my listing any better by hiding them.
