Do not remember the game but it was an rpg
The game I was playing crashed and I lost my save game somehow
rpgs take an extremely long time to get through...
not exactly an in game moment, but it remember that more than any other specific moment

My headphones broke when i was playin minecraft

So lots of people have said Bioshock Infinite's ending. But for me the saddest moment wasn't the ending, it was the scene that went with this song. To listen to it still sort of gives me chills. The emotion in the actress's voice is palpable.

Also sad, in a very good way, was the scene at the bedside of Thane Krios in Mass Effect 3. I thought it was one of the best scenes in the entire franchise.

Ending screen of minecraft when you kill the dragon. What it says is so réal, so true...

Ending of the Alter Ego... i guess, at least it's the one i remember.

I won't spoil any stories, so I'll just say my saddest day in a videogame is when Star Wars Galaxies shut down :(

My dad sent me to do the trash and curious about everquest, he ran my character off kelethin a city in the trees to my death. Then walks away leaving me to come back and find myself naked and unable to find where i had died for over an hour running around! I was in tears like why dad why! (this was quite a few years back haha)

• The worlds greatest hero turned greatest enemy
• Childhood hometown is literally enslaved/killed.
• Your quest to do good, ends up dooming the world.
• All totally your fault.
• This heartbreaking music titled "Sad Piano Theme" to accompany it all, and permanently scar you for the rest of your life.

Note: Silver Star Story is a remake. The remake is great, but the original was more soul crushing. Much more actual death.
