I would assume it's in the works or at least being talked about at the very least. Currency display for all regions based on IP region.
Although computing the conversion rates & updating that to be correct site wide for this many members may prove to be too much.

Yes I noticed that with the recent update, just hasn't quite been added there. Just noting it down ;)

Recent changes might make things difficult, as Valve have decided to stop allowing people from seeing other regional prices.

Really? Didn't actually know that but I suppose I could see why

Damn Valve is still locking things down. I did not even know this. This is upsetting news. Oh well.

Yeah, it was recent. Now if you check your Account Details page, you will see your country. This locks you to that store, and almost certain it will prevent people from playing games that require X region.

Well, I am not one to abuse the pricing of things, nor go out of my way to seek out a better deal, aside from bundles that are available to me. I cannot see how this will affect me adversely. Although, it does seem like it fences in and makes me feel like I am back to using AOL with dial-up and being in a protected garden. I like to make the right choice, not have the choice be made for me. But whatever. I don't pay to use the service, I just pay for products off the service.

I'm annoyed, I can't wishlist out of region items like the DLC for Postal 2
Comment has been collapsed.
Do you want the DLC? Do you even play the game? I am too lazy to check, so I just ask instead.
Or are you just making an example?
Comment has been collapsed.
Right now, more of an example. Bundlestars had a sale, 15%. I was going to wishlist mostly because I got P2 in a bundle years ago. Planned to wait for a better sale.

I am sad to see that you cannot Wishlist it based on your region. That is pretty low. I was not aware of such a thing limiting games also from being displayed. I thought it was just the pricing.

We can't view the pages at all with out accounts. Most people used it for the pricing, but some of us also used it to wishlist games.

Although it will most likely fall on deaf ears or eyes for that matter, I would send a support suggestion to fix that. That is limiting to Steams overall value for its customers. As you should still be able to see the DLC for the game and to Wishlist it at the very least.

They don't care. Its banned for sale here (I can legally still get it elsewhere, it just can't be sold here), and besides, people viewing other store pages means people trying to get cheaper prices.
They don't like that.

Ohhh yea. Bad games in your region get banned. I am also sorry for that kind of censorship. It sucks.

I remember someone mentioning that the recent change was breaking new data for addons that would previously fetch the data, so assumed there was something along those lines.

Just a suggestion, maybe a coming feature converts all steam pricing on steam-gifts to the NZD? :)
