Took me a minute to understand why Fanatical was loading in Korean :P

On topic - The price is very high, but then again Quest games rarely go below 30% discount

And while the resistance to discounting on Steam VR is less than it is on Quest Store, we VR fans need to remember that even on Steam the sales on VR games have lower discounts than they usually have for pancake games. There's a lot fewer PCVR users out there, this makes it harder to sell games profitably.

Despite the fact that you can turn a Quest/Quest 2 into a PCVR headset for free (Link/Airlink) or have a better one for cheap (Virtual Desktop is $20 on Quest Store, DON'T buy the Steam version for a Quest!) a lot of Quest owners either don't have a gaming PC or don't realize the advantage of using their Quest with their PC. Like iPhone users they're in a walled garden. Quest Store has sales, but like you say the big discounts aren't there and there's fewer games discounted. On the upside, the store doesn't pitch old games that'll never work on a modern headset (IF's regrettable bad ports and some early HTC-only games on Steam VR come to mind).

it is not for steam and it is too expensive so is no for me. you can find a fisherman's tale. down the rabbit hole and traffic jams steam key for less than 2 $ so i dont understand the price of this bundle anyway

because oculus sales rarely go below 30% discount, so if you have oculus quest 1 or 2, you dont mind computer again, just install on headset and play directly

Because you don't need a PC?

I want Puzzling Places. I have a sister-in-law who doesn't use Steam and probably wouldn't ever due to lack of gaming PC. Another reason besides the "walled garden" thing others have referred to is that it's a Pick & Mix deal. The deals on Fanatical are never quite as good on Pick & Mixes, and you can't use coupons on them. Aside from the human intervention involved (watching the key inventory, temporarily removing games from bundle, buying more keys, etc) I think it's a bit tougher to "sell" these bundles to the distributors because they don't know how much they'll get in sales. Most gamers pick the most popular games, ones they don't have, ones that drop cards, etc.

As if Facebook wasn't a big enough reason to avoid anything Oculus - Game sales for Quest also suck.

Swarm STILL hasn't ever been released on Steam (might never? it has an abandoned-looking page), so that, Puzzling Places plus whatever on there my SIL might want seems like a go-to for me.

Sadly, it seems Swarm isn't even on there to be picked. Either out of keys, or just not being offered in the UK? :/

Steam keys aren't an option for ANYONE, this was Quest-only.

Pretty sure this was done exclusively with Meta Quest store exclusively for two reasons: There's VR sales on Meta store for Quest 2 alone probably dwarf Steam VR's sales for all headsets combined? Using a Quest with Steam VR is easy enough for me and you, but folks without PCs and folks with PCs who just don't know any better on the Meta store are pretty plentiful. It's also a Pick & Mix deal. Those create enough uncertainty on sales figures that you can't even apply coupons to the deals (unlike regular bundles).

Did you know that the Quest 2 is the #1 HMD on Steam? Pretty sure Index is #2 at this point. I'm pretty sure that the Quest 2 now makes up the MAJORITY of headsets in the last Steam HW Survey. Oculus/Meta pretty much gives away their HMDs at a loss. Folks who hate Facebok/Zuch should buy a Quest 2 and maybe spend $20 on Virtual Desktop, then get all their games on Steam. It's what I've done, for the most part (a handful of games I got in bundles or they were exclusives).

Not necessary. The built-in air-link is enough. I bought a cheap used quest 2 headset recently, and most of my games are on Steam due to better sales. I don't hate Facebok/Zuch, but as a user of this website, it's pretty much expected that I'd gravitate towards better deals. I did buy this bundle, though. Having some offline games on hand is not a bad idea, and such sales are rare.

Are you sure you're replyign to the right person?

I only remarked as an aside that Swarm wasn't in the bundle to be picked (despite being advertised), so may be out of keys already.

Last 36 hours and bundle will not be available... I think the sales were very poor, so they are closing that bundle (last Quest bundle was there for maybe 1 month! But it had good price)
