Wondering what games you already own from this bundle? There's an extension/UserScript for that! It's called the RaChartβ„’ Enhancer!

This script enhances the charts by showing you which games you already own from the ones in it. If you own it, the row will be highlighted with a green color.

Thanks to luckz for helping with the poll!

AAA Monthly games usually start in Tier 3 of regular bundles, and the bundles aren't aimed at us Monthly subs. Also, that wasn't the Deluxe edition. (The Quantum Sonics radio station is actually really good.)

Besides, can you imagine the backlash if they put the DLC in Tier 2, and the base game in Tier 3? xD

"Green Cities" is interesting, but not for that price.

5 games and a bunch of DLCs for $18. Not that enticing since I already have Cities in Motion 2 and Cities Skylines. Still, I think Tier 1 is the best choice if you already have Cities: Skylines.

Yey, Cities Skylines ! I wouldn't mind to play a city builder.
Sees that the game has 23 DLCs + 3 free, 184.78€.

The only actual expansions are: After Dark, Snowfall, Natural Disasters, Mass Transit, Green Cities, Park Life, Industries and Campus.

The Content Creator Packs are packs of buildings made by content creators from the Workshop. They add buildings and props. Most of these are really good, but they're not vital and they don't add gameplay elements. (Don't be fooled by the 'mixed' reviews on the European Suburbia one, most of those is from people who couldn't figure out how to use it, not about the quality of the pack itself.)

The rest is practically pointless.
8 of those 23 DLC's are radio stations. Literally just ingame music.
The Deluxe Upgrade Pack just adds 5 monuments that don't do anything. (And you can probably get from the Workshop in better quality.)
Concerts is just a handful of buildings, one of which gives you a concert event for the city.

Ah, thank you for the info ! 2/8 major DLCs in this bundle then, and the missing ones are worth 12.99 to 14.99€ each on Steam. It's awful, but less than what EA does with the Sims. At least the expansions aren't 40€ each...
Oh well, I guess I can wait for a (very unlikely) Cities Skylines bundle, with all or at least the 8 major DLCs for 15$, like they did recently for Crusader Kings 2. Paradox, I (kinda but actually not so much) believe in you !

This bundle seems quite decent if you want to get Surviving Mars though.

Because it's not on the Steam Store.
It will be highlighted correctly for anyone who owns it and uses RaChart.

Edit:
There are actually 2 apps, one of them is not on the store but the other one is.

Prison Architect + DLC make Tier 1 a great deal, but the rest of the bundle is A) expensive and B) nothing that interests me. Skip!

Cities in Motion are both good too. They're a lot more constrained than a typical city builder, which makes for a very different game
(basically, the city already exists, and you're just trying to build a public transportation system)

I'm slightly tempted to get BTA for the Cities Skylines DLCs.

damn, cities skylines dlcs scattered all over the bundle.
they definitively made this on purpose: buy the whole bundle to get a few.

If during BTA purchase its price increases does it still counts?

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

The price that is being shown to you is what matters - if you open the page now and buy it in 2 days, you still have to beat this moment's price.

Permalink

and if u pay only 1$, u 'lock' BTA and same-u need to beat locked bta to take games, not the actual BTA

Wow. I'm tempted, and uncertain. That's lots of interesting-looking DLC for games I own and don't mostly play. I have a DLC Weakness that's almost as big as my Bundle Weakness.

Hmm, I see you picked two Weaknesses during your character creation phase. The good news is that should give you enough points to pick a great positive trait!

Remember to use your level-up points wisely :)

Comment has been collapsed.

Well, I guess Cities in Motion for $1 isn't bad. I don't personally like the marketing strategy of games with an abundance of DLC but I guess it's profitable.

Everyone else will receive a ROW version that can be activated anywhere (including the countries above).

From the attached screenshot it would seem, that the ROW keys could not be activated in those countries.

Permalink

Comment has been collapsed.

ROW keys almost always activate in any countries (there are rare exceptions).
The notification appears as such even if you get a ROW key.

Don't always trust what Humble Bundle says, the notification should be taken more like "to the customers from these countries we give locked keys" rather than "your key will not activate in these countries".

Hmm. Green Cities and Industries for Cities: Skylines and three expansions for Surviving Mars I'd want. Those alone are worth $18 to me and the rest is good for some nice GAs.

I'm positively surprised that Paradox didn't offer Mass Transit or After Dark, instead of Green Cities and Industries. They really upped their bundles' value lately.

Cities in motion is good, as long as you know what you're getting yourself into.
It's not a city builder - the city already exists. You need to build a public transportation system in it. The constraints make it a very different experience

T1 one is a no brainer - I highly recommend Prison Architect to management sim fans.

T2 & T3 on the other hand...as an owner of Cities and Surviving Mars base games, I am disappointed with the DLCs available in this bundle. I'm not interested in any of the Cities DLC shown here since I want stuff like Afterdark and Snowfall, aside from the glut of free mods & workshop stuff. For Surviving Mars I only really want Green Planet, and the other DLCs aren't worth an extra $10 beyond BTA (which is now $8.11).

+1 It's the same Paradox thing to entice you to have to buy their dlcs. Cities skylines is one title I wouldn't mind an entire HB bundle price for.

Surviving Mars was fine, but I played the whole thing on Xbox Pass on PC and it was too slow for me to recommend. $10 for the complete edition is a good deal though if you really like builders and don't mind it slow.

Does anyone know if we can increase the amount to get the next tier? I know i want tier 2 but not decided on if i want to get tier 3 yet for the surviving mars dlc. you usually can but sometimes you can't.
