Borderlands 2 MAC, will it work on PC?

It's on GMG for 10$ right now, 8$ with a 20% discount coupon, but it's the mac version. When I asked about Bioshock Infinite, they told me that it works even on PC, but that some games don't, because they are added as a different game. Does BL2 Goty work on PC evne if it's a mac version?
