They seem like a good idea because you can get a good gauge to how affirmative some on'es response is, rather than a black and white answer that doesn't always fit, but they're so subjective that it's pointless.

There's a specific one I'm thinking about that goes from 0 to 3 that I particularly dislike. I think I dislike them because you don't get a chance to explain your answer which I think is important while answer an objective opinion such as a rating.
