Well according to BLAEO I have only beaten 35% of my wins. I still have a long way to go. Oh well.

I have a good feeling that you will be done with it before I beat my win backlog ;)

I dunno, I'm getting pretty wore out playing these games. I see now why some people only enter things they are really interested in even if it means they never win anything. Think I'll start entering a lot less myself. I've enjoyed some of the games but some of them are pretty rough

You have a lot of good games in your win list, but also a good bit that are long. If they're long and you're not enjoying it, that does get old fast.

Are you trying for completion of all wins, or just giving everything a solid go, finishing those that are fun?

I play one game at a time. Learning new mechanics for multiple games makes things even less enjoyable, it's one of the main reasons I stopped playing WoW. They just kept piling on more and more mechanics and making new mechanics and it just became too much of a hassle. I try to reach the ending for every game, I won it so I should at least make the attempt. Some games like Fury Unleashed I am just unable to finish and that is frustrating.

Yeah reducing the amount of wins helps :) wish I realized that earlier 😅
But it helps to not look at the whole backlog but take a part of it and work on this first.

If you don't like the games after trying them just either skip them or do them in smaller parts so that you get them done eventually.

Do you play multiple games at once? Some people are better if they concentrate on one game at a time others like me play 2-3 games at the same time so that if you stuck on one or just don't want to play them at a day you can switch to another.

I totally get that, I had to give up on whatever that 12 is the new 6 or whatever game, as it just doesn't work on controller, which is what I have available to play 99% of the time.

I try to make a best effort to play through a game, but if I've made that effort, and it is just awful, then I move on. Many games just never even get tried on SG, and there are so many to play. If I run out of SG games to play, or feel I could give it another go when I'm more able to tackle such things (for instance, one game I just don't have the emotional reservoir for right now), I'll go back to it.

I only have so many 'spoons' in a day, sometimes. So I only enter games I think I'll enjoy in some way, and I do my best to play, but I also need to prioritize my fun time to actually end up being...fun. or at minimum satisfying (finally made it to the top of the mountain in Celeste. Woo!)

Yea trudging through some of these games is just no fun. I gave up on another game, Remnants of Naezith. I'm not good at platformers and I really don't enjoy them. I've been saving the longer games for last. Think I may throttle it backdown to 1 or 2 a month and try to squeeze more fun in

Holy win list Batman! Maybe have kids and grandkids who can team up to defeat that beast. LAN party perhaps?

I have the feeling that the kids wouldn't want to play such old games then :D

You just make the playing of the games a game itself. :D
(My kid doesn't mind a variety of ages of games though. Lots of new games these days have old aesthetics, so...)
