I already own a game, but SteamGifts isn't recognizing it, and won't let me enter DLC giveaways.

^--- Title. What gives?

To use a concrete example, I already own Beat Hazard, but SteamGifts isn't acknowledging that, so I can't participate in Beat Hazard Ultra giveaways. What do I do in this case?

Play it a little bit? Some games don't recognize until you do that.

that's just plain wrong.

on topic: sync your account and make sure it actually shows in the list there - if it doesn't contact support telling them about the issue

same happened with me . I could not enter giveaway for A Game of Dwarves: Ale Pack even though I owned the base game .
