I'm not a 100% sold on safe spaces (and here comes the shitlord vocab, don't take it badly) because in my humble opinion there's a risk of segregation, disconnection from the rest, something that might create an us vs them mentality, which in my opinion does not contribute to the full acceptation of every individual into society
However, if you guys felt you needed something like this, why no go ahead with it, the only thing is that I'm sorry about the number of idiots posting here.

Knowing how the internet is, at least it's something. The Youtube comment sections of every video ever is bad enough, Steam's forums are 100x worse in most cases.
I'd participate in the funny and reputable gif/joke sharing but I lack both funny gifs and the reputation to do so. Cheers! Hope your group goes well. I bet at least one person has always thought I'm a discriminatory asshole. :P

I joined Steam quite recently, but played games for a quite some time. Insults have been flinging around when games were "probably" a strict (PC filter on, robot voice) cis gendered white male dominated safe geek space (PC filter off). And we still had the worst verbal abuse being flung on voice chat ever. Bad gamers, trolls, campers and destructive gamers to the game play in general were always called out and shit on.
Fast-forward to 2016:
How can we identify the easily offended, the SJWs, the PC people. Oh, look, they made a steam group.

Nice idea for a group. I'm straight but I always find it interesting to see people from different walks of life. I also liked the list of games related to gender differences.
