Any other way to get Steam backgrounds?
i have no steam wallet...
so plz any other way to get steam backgrounds? :/

Find someone that owns the background that you want and offer him something with the same or even a bit more of its value... Usually, they tend to go up to just a few cents, so try to find someone to trade it for a random card or any compatible valued item.

just add some funds on steam and you'll be able to use Steam wallet. But you'll have to wait 30 days. Bafore that you can change your dota 2 / tf 2 / cs:go items for any items.

am i missing something here? you don't register somewhere to create a wallet in steam you know that right? you have a steam account, then you have a wallet. you sell something in steam's market, you get money to your steam wallet.

Everyone has a Steam wallet, it's not a special account registration thing or anything like that as you say. All someone has to do is add funds to it either by credit card, pre-paid card, or selling items in the market. That's all there is to it.

You can either sell some of the stuff you have right now or trade.

-To sell simply go to your inventory and click on whatever you would like to sell and then click on the green "sell" button.

-To trade for the background you want find someone that has it first of all then make them an offer. Best to find someone on the forum from the game the background belongs to. You can also create a trading post there while your at it and specifying what you [W] want and trading for what you [H] have.

What he means with "he has no steam wallet" is there are no funds on them and they never were which means he can't sell stuff to use the marketplace. marketplace requires you to make a purchase in the steamstore in the last half(?) year and an activated Steamguard for 30 days.

Oh yeah.. forgot about that. If that is the case then the OP needs to make sure he is even able to sell stuff first and have Steamguard active as well. It's been a while since I've had to worry about those requirements since I'm always buying something, dang Steam sells XD

To all the other replies,you need to do a transaction(buying games/gifts/in-game items) then market will be available after 30 days.

To OP,Just trade for a background,maybe from tf2 items or dota 2 items.

Sounds as the most viable option to me. I think even common wep drops from tf2 might get you a background in trading.
