Anything storyless. Endless runners, casual smartphone level titles, maybe time management, or stuff like Superhot (which is a criss between action and puzzle). Or maybe single-player arena shooter types, like a campaign mode in UT2004. Also, exploration games. And sandbox ones. Those are probably the best: Minecraft & Co.

I usually listen to stuff (music, lectures...) while playing Path of Exile, Diablo 3 or Hearthstone, because they don't require you to focus and read stuff, they're quite mechanical if you know them well. Plus, PoE and HS are free to play!

Banished is very playable. Sound in that game is just quiet music mixed with ambience of forest, markets, farming, etc
I'd imagine Cities: Skylines to also be playable.
