keen to get into some survival games myself , official servers suck from my experiences though, thinking of trying to get on some whitelist servers & see how they are.

When i had a go at Rust a few months ago servers were pretty low pop, do you just play on whitelist servers then?

Hurtworld goes to steam EA release 4th December - don't miss it! Awesome building system, beautiful art, the devs are very cool, very open and friendly. There seems to be quite a lot of players from Rust and h1z1 moving on to it.

so many games survival games out there, "Hardcore FPS Survival Sandbox" doesn't sound like my idea of an ideal survival game not into just bang bang your dead but i guess i'll see what the community say about as it progresses

well it's not as bad as it sounds given upon death you don't lose clothing, tools and weapons unless you've been killing players recently - in that case you may lose a item more or two depending on how naughty you were. Other then that upon death you only lose materials in the inventory and such. It's quite fun. You can also pick less populated servers or host your own. PVE servers might come soon (if not already - haven't been checking for them) since they made things pretty easy to change.
