Most underrated games of this generation?

EYE Divine Cybermancy, very good FPS/RPG game!

Definitely Duke Nukem Forever, players and critics aswell bashed the game because it didn't live up to it's hype, but the game delivered what Duke always delivered, intense fun and some nice humor. Guess I'll be buying it soon.

Mirror's edge

Only and only: Metro 2033.

It's the only recent game which really made me feel like a gamer and reminded me of the good old days of real shooters.

excellent gameplay, Mind blowing graphics, great atmosphere, but not enough hype...

Prince Of Persia 2008, it was very fun and had a great art style, so what if you couldnt die? getting all the achievements was very challenging.

Dark Sector was a very good rent or a buy when cheap.

Bastion was underrated too, even though it got very good scores it should have goten much better scores imo.

Amnesia dark descent, amazing atmosphere, scariest game this gen hands down(although it didnt have alot of competition lol).

Valrkyia chronciles, one of the best turn based stratergies/rpgs then gen, shame it sold so badly the sequels had to exclusive to handheld >.<.

Serious sam 3, fast paced old school action, kind of like painkiller if you have played any of those.

Mini Ninjas and Bulletstorm

Angry Birds..... oh wait you said underrated not overrated :P Also, please define "this generation". Your generation could be very different to mine!

Overlord?

1. Singularity (2010) on top of all.
2. Wolfenstein (2009) also, it had a LOT of issues on release but after some months the game became playable.
3. E.Y.E Divine Cybermancy, the learning curve is really steep but it's a good game.

Can't think of anything else. Maybe Supreme Commander 2 (yes, I've been playing since TotalA and SupCom 1 so I know it's pretty different)
