Playing Appreciated: Giveaways with the intention for the games to be played within a month

Introduction

Playing Appreciated is a group for members that like to play games they win and for giveaway creators that like to see their games getting played. This sounds simple, yet requires commitment and dedication from members by filtering out games they like to play from all group giveaways and when won playing those within one month. In return members will get higher chances of winning games they want and creators will know their giveaways have a high chance of getting played. The group has more than 1000 members and over 25000 historical giveaways.

Group rules

You need to set and keep your Steam privacy settings for My profile and Game details public (example);
You will play all giveaways you win via this group within one month;
When creating a giveaway it is recommended to include a small group rule reminder in your giveaway, something like: "This is a Playing Appreciated giveaway, by joining you commit to playing this game within a month when won.".

How to join

Make sure you are not violating any SteamGifts rules;
Comment one of the two options to enter the group in this discussion:
- Option 1: Showing your commitment by playing a previous won game on SteamGifts that you did not yet play. The game shouldn't be very short and must have achievements. Comment with the name of the game, wait for your suggested game to be approved before you start to play it and then comment again once you have finished it. Please upload some screenshots to Steam as well. The game needs to be played in online mode on your own Steam account.
- Option 2: Supporting the cause by creating a group exclusive giveaway of a game that you would like to see getting played by other group members within a month as soon as your membership request was approved. The game should not have been given away free before (marked by ** when creating a giveaway on SteamGifts). Please leave the name of the game you would like to giveaway in the application comment.
Press "Request To Join" on our group page;
Wait for us to approve your request, we'll always reply on the comment you have made in this topic.

Final notes

Requesting to join without leaving a comment bellow will result in an automatic rejection.

Hi, I just one my first giveaways here and would love to join this group! I'd be happy to play either of the games, whichever one you think would be more fitting, as I'm not quite sure how long ProtoCorgi is; one site says under an hour, and another says over 10 hours. They both seem to have achievements tied to progression, though I only see a clear beat game one under The Last Tinker.

I have a couple of questions about how the group counts playtime, as well as I'd like to avoid doing anything wrong. First, does playing game demos create issues with tracking playtime? I find that they're a great way to figure out if I'd enjoy a game or not, and some seem to count towards total playtime, so I'd like to know so that I can avoid either playing the demos or entering giveaways if I've already played the demos.
Edit to add: same question referring to free play weekends, when they make the game free-to-play but remove it from your account at the end of the period. Are these games that we shouldn't enter giveaways for through this group, as it could mess with playtime/achievements? I'm assuming games played through family sharing would be a no, since I can play them whenever, even if they're not in my account.
Secondly, after the 1-month period after winning the game and playing it enough to qualify, is it then ok to play it in offline mode since it's not getting tracked anymore? I often play on transit going home/visiting friends <-> uni, which either doesn't have wifi or blocks Steam, and my uni also blocks Steam. If it's not ok, I'll just make notes not to play those games during those periods.
