How?

The CS: GO case keys are newly introduced, and the fees Steam charges add to the prices. Sellers are probably looking for gullible uninformed buyer to trick.

Same with tf2 and dota2 treasure keys. Guess it's a mixture of people using autobuy/sell scripts, the difference in currency between countries and people being utterly idiot.

TF2 and Dota 2 keys are both cheaper on the market than in the game store.

They are also recently region restricted.. so people are making money from people who can't actually buy the keys in store

europe prices maybe... the key is more expensive in dollars ($2.50), but cheaper in euros (€2).
basically the $2.ish dollars are less than the 2 euros in the official store.
that, or bots.

Yeah, I've noticed this too. It isn't really a problem tough. If you wanna buy from the market, you need cash on your steam wallet, but if you got cash on steam wallet, you can purchase from csgo menu directly. So it doesn't make any sense to buy from the market

This doesnt make any sence, you need to get money on your wallet either way, for both market and official store, but official store is cheaper.

The prices changed.
When the Arms Deal update was introduced, people in certain regions were able to buy keys for far less than anyone else was able to.
They were re-selling those Keys on the market, because they could still make profit from them while offering a better price than the official source did.
(Keys used to cost 2.25€ over here I think, in the market you got them for 1.50€)
Now the prices are pretty similar across all regions, and no one can make any profit from reselling them any more.
There are very few Keys left in the market(From 10.000 down to 200), most people probably just put theirs up at some point and assumed they would get bought eventually, then forgot about them.
Everyone else relied on the fact that they are still asking for less than Valve used to, so people unaware of the change may still buy one or two of them.

People are lazy... Pretty sure that's the main reason... Hey get used to buyin in the market, so just accept those prices.
