The second one I guess? I say Hotline Miami 2 soundtrack beats the first one a lot.

Maybe it's good because the sound and beats seems fitting during the game, with violence, dies and countless retries.

Good point. To be honest, I really didn't feel the urge to hear the whole album while I'm not playing the game. The best game soundtrack for me is from the PAYDAY series and I enjoyed listening to them, even when I'm not playing the game. I had some of it on my phone for ringtones and alarms lol

Yeah, same with me for Remember Me. The OST is nothing special, truthfully, but I like to listen to it sometimes and have one of the tracks as a ringtone. But, again, for me it is more of an emotional attachment for the game, not the OST particularly. I don't consider that one of the classics by itself.

Bastion, Risk of Rain, The Witcher (first only), Transistor pretty good, Paper Sorcerer and +1 for Alice Madness Returns (first Alise has very good sound too).

This question is unanswerable. Many games have epic soundtracks... too many have epic soundtracks. And the more you play, the less you can pinpoint the best soundtrack, as many have great ones. Anyways, here's my input: Alien Trilogy (1996)

i was looking at my past answers to these soundtrack threads and came up with two words:
wait, that's three facepalm
besides that: binding of isaac and isaac rebirth, super meat boy, bastion, FTL, and probably a few others :)

Probably most Japanese game OSTs from Shadow of the Colossus to Okami to Bayonetta to most Final Fantasies.
From Western companies I like the OST of Advent Rising to listen to. There are games where I like the OST, but only inside the game, not listening to it.
