Best ingame soundtrack?

I really like soundtrack from Starcraft (mostly first but second is still pretty good) and Bastion. Sometimes I listen to The Black Mages (band responsible for Final Fantasy soundtracks).

Life is Strange and Heavy Rain. The highly story-driven games have the best soundtracks, in my opinion.

Quake 2 (first was also okay, very ambiental, but I prefer industrial/rock sound of the second)

PAYDAY 1 & 2, Killing Floor 2, Hotline Miami 1 & 2 - its the best soundtracks, as for me.

The only game soundtracks that really stick in my mind are Journey and The Last Of Us...there are PLENTY of songs in other games that really make the experience for me (Red Dead Redemption, GTA: SA, Saints Row:The Third particularly) but I really don't much notice many soundtracks lately for some reason...I DO listen to some occasionally but they never really evoke memories of the game like those first two do, or like Jamie Liddell's Compass, José González' Far Away & Ashtar Command's Deadman's Gun do...

And funnily enough, as disappointed as I was with Saints Row IV, I LOVED the duet with Pierce and The Boss

All of the Donkey Kong Countrys~! great music

Starcraft is pretty decent too.

Bastion, Mighty Switch Force, and Guacamelee is great.

Bastion and Hotline Miami are the two I remeber as the best :D

Rusty has a great soundtrack. Nobody's ever heard of the game though.

Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood;
The Neverhood

Ikaruga soundtrack is amazing. But that's also because the stage/enemy layouts are choreographed to it.
DmC - Devil may Cry -> Combichrist's a pretty good band, and it's fitting music for the game.
Castlevania as a series also is known for it's strong soundtrack.

I agree with many titles already mentioned, so instead of repeating them I will add Frozen Synapse and SpaceChem to the list.

My favourite three will be Hotline Miami, Binding of Isaac and of course BASTION!

Trine series (at least 1 and 2) and probably Diablo II, but also Guns of Icarus Online, Oblivion, Guilty Gear series, KoF 98, SFIII:3s
