Something similar happened to me in an MMO, a guy started whispering me out of the blue, offering to help me. Then he started asking questions about my relationship status. When I told him I wasn't single he asked me if I had ever been 'bad' and that cheating wouldn't harm anyone if I stayed quiet. He ended up on my ignore list.
