"What is it with children and idiots in general that think a girl on Steam wants to hear this kind of shit?"
You've actually hit upon the answer with your question. "Thinking" was never involved.
Human males are afflicted with what is known as "testosterone poisoning." While young, the symptoms are minor and usually sporadic. When a boy reaches a certain age, however, the condition becomes acute and impairs his thought processes. Additional side-effects are somewhat similar to P.M.S., only without the benefit of being limited in duration. Eventually, if he survives long enough, the boy will mature to the point where he can deal effectively with his condition. This ability is acquired through constant practice and sheer force of will. Having become a model of self-control and restraint, he is then considered a "man" and is expected to behave as such. Although occasional lapses are not uncommon, they tend to be lethal and are therefore avoided. The coddling effect of "modern" society, however, has increasingly allowed under-developed specimens to survive, and it is now possible to encounter males of age forty or more who remain boys.
The male you encountered was a boy.
